Miami Money Exchange buys only € 0.50, € 1, and € 2 coins.

Yes, with the following exception:

Citizens or residents of the USA must present a government-issued ID, a Driver’s License, or a valid Passport.  Non-citizens and non-residents must present a valid Passport.

Miami Money Exchange handles more than 80 currencies, using several criteria to determine pricing, availability of the currency, and the demand for the currency by consumers. If you don’t see a coin listed for selection, you can contact us at our call center and ask if we offer it.

Many countries periodically take their banknotes out of circulation. The new bills circulate to replace the old bills and the old bills are considered out of circulation. National banks will accept the old bills for a short period of time and distribute only the new bills. Miami Money Exchange only accepts foreign currency banknotes that are in circulation, with very limited exceptions. For those, please consult us in person.

If you are a US citizen or permanent resident for transactions over $1,000, we ask for a valid ID and social security number or a Passport, which is required by federal law (see 31 CFR § 1022.410(b)(3)). If you are a tourist you must present your valid Passport physically. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Currently, all our locations have parking available, Doral and Hialeah have parking in front of the office, and Downtown with its two locations use Bayfront Parking for users. If you are downtown, park in Bayfront parking and when making your transaction you can request our tellers to validate the ticket.

You can call any of our offices to verify the availability of the currency, in case there is not in stock, the client must make a reservation in cash of 50% and the currency will be available usually within 24 hours.

We do not charge fees or commissions.

The client can only ask for change at the customer service window when making purchase or sale of foreign currency. Once the customer leaves the teller window, we do not allow changes.

Miami Money Exchange only sells and buys foreign currency.

It is not necessary to make an appointment for any of our services, unless the amount of money to be exchanged is considerably large.  In that case we suggest that you always contact us by phone before going to any of our offices to verify stock and availability.

Comfort and tranquility. You may need local currency for tips, taxis, and other miscellaneous expenses. Obtaining local currency before you leave means you don’t have to worry about finding an exchange business as soon as you arrive.  Also, exchange rates at airports are extremely high and often had additional fees.

The rate can change up to several times a day, subject to the market and its fluctuations. The rate may vary from one moment to another.

The prices of currencies on the Internet are referential.  Our pricing reflects a profit margin for the sale or purchase of foreign currency.
